Big Buck N Doe Contest

2006 Hunt

As part of the heritage on Manitoulin, hunting deer, partridge, and ducks has been enjoyed for generations.

For the last six years Bridal Veil Variety has run a Big Buck N Doe contest.

A picture of the entrant and their harvest is taken and placed on the wall of fame inside our store.

Watch for the winners to be posted on this site after the hunt.

Over the last six years the contest has grown in size and popularity. This is a non profit contest, prizes being donated by local merchants and businesses.

Proceeds from the contest go to The Catch A Dream Foundation. To date over $5,000 has been raised for charities.
